How much do the classes cost?
Life In The Soil Class costs $1997 (with webinars) (For Regular or Self-Paced Classes)

What is the Special Discount?
If you sign up for any class between the period of six week to two weeks before the class begins you will receive a discount for the class (self-paced or regular classes). Discounts are $200 for all classes, but twic a year there are $500 discounts for the Life in the Soil Class in Summer and Winter. Check the “Shop N Cart” page for current Special Discounts.
How do I register for a Class?
- To register for a class press the Login/Sign Up Button at the top right corner.
- Fill out the form on the login/signup page and press submit.
- To complete your registration press the Buy Now Button at the top right corner.
- Make a payment for the class that you want to take.
- You will receive a unique password on the day the class begins.
- You can then be able to login (using the unique password).
- After you login you will be able to enter the private class area to view the class materials.
What’s the difference in taking classes online vs in-person workshops?
I’The material is the same in either the live “in-person” workshop or the class online. The difference is that in the online class you have access to the videos and transcripts for one year, so you can watch them over and over to review and you will have the additional webinars with the Life In The Soil Class and practice sessions with the Microscope Class when you take it online.
Do any classes have a hands-on component?
The Life In The Soil Class consists of 18 online video sessions with no hands on components. There are many practical examples within those 18 videos of real life applications.
The upcoming Compost, Compost Tea, and Microscope classes will have a few online video sessions that have more hands-on demonstrations of How to make compost, How to make compost tea, and How to use a microscope.
The Microscope Class will also have 3 practice session webinars.
How many classes are held during the year?
Below are tentative dates for classes remaining during 2016. These dates are subject to change until registration opens for each class.
Life In The Soils Class (Summer Class) July 7 – September 8, 2016.
Compost Class (Fall Class) September 8 – October 6, 2016.
Compost Tea Class (Fall Class) October 6 – November 3, 2016.
Microscope Class (Winter Class) November 3 – December 15, 2016.

What if I don’t have a Paypal account?
You can checkout on Paypal and pay as a guest for any of the classes without having a Paypal account. But you can also sign up for a paypal account if you want to at www.paypal.com. You can also call us and give us your credit card information over the phone and we can accept your payment without using Paypal (707-225-5762). Or you can mail us a check for the amount of the class. Make checks out to ECI and send to: Environment Celebration Institute, The Celebration Farm, 13193 Oro Quincy Hwy, Berry Creek, CA 95916.
When can I see the videos?
You will be able to access the videos, one at a time. Once you have finished the first video, you then take the quiz for that video. Then the next video will be released on the next date, etc. Approximately two videos will be released a week. But you cannot access the next video until you have completed the previous quiz.
What if I miss a webinar session?
All the “live” webinars will be recorded from that webinar. These will be available in an Archive Library for each class and accessible for review for up to one year after each class begins. You will be able to review and re-review Video Class Sessions and transcipts from Videos also in the Archive Library.
Why is Life In The Soils Class a prerequisite for the other classes?
The Life In The Soils Class has the basic biology information that is needed to apply to the Compost, Compost Tea and Microscope Classes.
